Job description

Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is an independent NGO and standard-setter. Over the last 26 years, our standards have created a global language used by organisations to provide transparency. At GRI, we enable organizations to assess and report on the environmental, social, and economic impacts of their activities. We also help build organizational capacity for sustainability reporting: from our Academy training courses to working with licensing partners to enable digital reporting with GRI’s standards. Together, the skills, capabilities, and data we create help build sustainable, long-term value. Working at GRI, you will be part of unlocking positive change in the world. 

 

The Administrator role will be part of the Education team, assisting the line manager and team members with administrative tasks by following instructions and procedures, utilising excellent planning and organisational skills. This role will report to the Director of Education.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in handling the public inboxes of the GRI Academy and the Training Partner Program, ensuring a timely and proper reply to all incoming emails.

  • Prepare the statistics for the training partner renewals and applicants of the Training Partner Program.

  • Validate exam submissions from GRI Academy learners, from reviewing the proctoring videos to registering the successful applicants and contacting them if needed.

  • Maintain accurate training records and databases across various systems, including CRM, LMS, and CMS.

  • Create, maintain, and troubleshoot information in the GRI Academy learning platform. Identify and investigate irregularities and share findings with the Academy team when needed.

  • Help prepare the materials that training partners need for onboarding the program and delivering their training sessions.

Job requirements

Work Experience

  • Professional qualification or previous work experience in a customer support or administrative role.

  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Suite of programs; experience with Marketing Dynamics or DTP software (e.g. Canva) is a plus.

Knowledge and abilities

  • Customer-oriented with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Proactive and comfortable working independently, seeking advice when needed.

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English, as well as additional language skills, particularly Spanish, is a plus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels.

  • Comfortable working remotely in a dynamic environment where change is ongoing. Ability to adapt quickly.

  • Able to work in an international and multi-cultural setting.

  • Affinity with the GRI mission.

  • To support your overall well-being, have an existing ergonomic desk set-up when working remotely.

What we offer

  • Location: Remote and/or Hybrid (within +/- 2 hours CET; candidates must have an existing valid permit to work in the country they will be based)

  • Work hours: 40 hrs p/w (full-time, flexible)

  • Contract type: 1-year fixed-term contract

  • Start date: July-August 2025
